The Consol store at Cornubia Mall in Durban is celebrating their first birthday! I’m a big fan of using glass instead of plastics, etc, particularly because it’s such an easy environmentally friendly option. Glass is 100% organic and recyclable, and of course endlessly reusable, and Consol glass is manufactured using up to 70% recycled glass! My fave is the Consol Grab and Go bottle that goes everywhere with me, and of course their jars have so many potential uses.
One of the fun ways I’ve used them in the past is to create plant terrariums. These are so easy and enjoyable to make, and I love watching how they grow and evolve over time. So as part of Consol Cornubia’s first birthday celebrations, I’m very excited to be joining in and hosting a fun event at their store on the 29th of September! Eight lucky winners will win double tickets to join us for a morning of creative DIY using their glass jars to create a festive terrarium! It’s going to be such a fun morning of yummy treats and creating, and each person will leave with their own terrarium. Below are some pics for inspiration, in case you aren’t familiar with them yet, and I’ve posted about terrariums previously here and here.

Entries close at midnight on Wednesday the 26th, and winners will be announced on Thursday the 27th of September 2018.
The event will take place at the Consol store at Cornubia Mall on Saturday the 29th of September from 9am to 1pm. The competition is open to anyone who’ll be available to attend in Durban on that day.
Can’t wait to see you there! 🙂
