You asked for it, and I’m (finally) making it happen 😀
Brush lettering workshops are for real in the pipelines for the near future, so this is your notice to gather your squad and your excitement! The reason it’s taken me so long to do this is because it wasn’t a position that I was comfortable with (talking in front of people, that is), but having been kindly invited to do a workshop at the Etsy Craft Party last year, and then doing a one-on-one class at the end of the year, and then sitting with the thought for several months, it has finally seeped in, and now I’m ready and excited! It’s been a bit of a personal introvert’s journey, if you will, haha.
Workshops like this are so great for so many reasons. If you’re a creative person and would like to experiment, this can be your creative outlet away from your day job. If you don’t see yourself as a creative person but have always wanted to try or are just keen to experience something different, this is for you. If you have kids and just don’t get time for yourself and your own personal growth and social time, you deserve this. Just want to get your friends together for a fun activity, this’ll be great. Whatever your situation, learning something new is always a great idea, especially when there’s fun to be had with it.
SO! What’s happening? The details are being ironed out, but this is what it looks like so far:
Brush Lettering Workshop (all materials provided)
Just want to come be creative and have a good time with likeminded people and yummy treats? There’s a workshop option for you where all materials are provided – you come in, have some fun, use any materials you want, eat some yummy munchies, have some fun with cool people, and leave with your beautiful creation, new fancy skills and new friends.
Brush Lettering Workshop PLUSÂ (brush lettering starter kit provided to take home)
This option includes all the lovely stuff above, plus you get a brush lettering starter kit to use in the workshop and take home with you to continue making magic forever! Or, you know, as long as and whenever you want 🙂
• The first workshop is planned for Saturday, 8th July 2017
• Workshops will be around 2,5hrs and will be held somewhere in central Durban on a Saturday morning
• Groups will be kept small (6 to 8 people at a time) so that it can be chilled and hands-on
• It’s suitable for all skill levels, beginners most welcome (even if you’ve never held a brush before)
• Pricing and other details are being finalised and I’ll keep you updated as soon as info is confirmed
Sign up below to say you’re keen and stay updated! Official bookings will be taken at a later stage. I’d love you to leave a comment and let me know what you look for in a workshop like this, what would make it a good workshop in your opinion.  (If you don’t like commenting publicly, feel free to email, tweet, insta DM me and let me know 🙂Â
