I haven’t done a post like this in a while, and I’ve missed it! There was a time when I’d do a lettering doodle for almost all my created posts (here are a few of those 01 02 03 04 05 06). I’d like to make more time for that again.
Anyway, today I’m sharing an awesome little Durban vintage shop that’s been around for about a year now called Vintage Quirkyness. It’s nestled inside one of my favourite local coffee spots, Churchill House, just off Windermere Road (now Lillian Ngoyi Road), on Churchill Road. It’s run by Ann Rose, who has been collecting these pieces over many years. She’s previously worked in the retail industry for a large local company styling window displays, and this shows in the way she’s organised the store. I love the little areas of interest at different height levels, giving you so much to get lost in. That’s why I ended up getting so many pics, despite it being a pretty small space!
She’s got some beautiful clothing, jewellery, handbags and other bits and pieces, and they’re having a sale this week from Thursday the 11th to Saturday the 13th. Be sure to check it out!
Follow them on Facebook for more info and updates on their goods.
